Become a Patron
Did you know it costs about £20,000 a year to fund the activities of the Sheffield Philharmonic Orchestra? Could you contribute £10 per month and become a Patron of the orchestra?
If the orchestra has brought you enjoyment, and you feel able to contribute to its future development, we would love you to become a Patron of Sheffield’s flagship amateur orchestra.
Becoming a Patron is an ideal way to show your commitment to the SPO making music in our city. We aim to nurture the artistic development and musical talent of our members through intensive and enjoyable rehearsals; commissioning new works for orchestra; and engaging young people in orchestral music through our family concerts and collaborations with youth ensembles.
Your support will help us to pay for rehearsal and concert venues, commissioning new compositions and arrangements, subsidising fees for orchestra members on low incomes, and exciting projects within the Sheffield community.
From £120 per year (paid annually or in monthly instalments), you can become one of our Patrons. You’ll receive 25% off all concert tickets, acknowledgement of your support on our website and in our concert programmes, and the opportunity to come along to rehearsals - meet the orchestra and see first hand the hard work that goes into preparing for our magical concerts!
You may also want to donate a patronage as a gift or in honour of someone special.
If you are a UK taxpayer, you can add 25% to your donations through gift aid, helping us make even more of your contributions at no extra cost to you.
Sign up here or contact our Fundraising Officer at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
|You could also consider leaving us a legacy in your will. This is an opportunity to leave a tax-efficient charitable gift to causes you care about. Your kindness and generosity can have a positive impact on generations of local musicians to come.|
